Thailand’s unique markets

Thailand is easily one of the most unique countries I have ever visited, so its no surprise that shopping in Thailand would also be just as unique. While there I visited two markets that were both unlike anything I had ever experienced. Both sold what you would expect from any typical market (fruits, souvenirs, and fresh meats), but what made these markets anything but typical were their locations. If you want read about it, here’s a link to my article in last week’s New York Amsterdam News.

Here are a few pictures to give you a good sense of what exactly I’m talking about. But I promise, none of these images show how spectacular these markets truly were.

The market located on an active train track:

The market spans hundreds of feet down the railway, as well as inside a covered market place

Never seen anything like that market, that is crazy. So interested to visit Asia, especially Thailand. Although, not sure if I’ll be a fan of those fried delicacies they were selling at the market…lol.
