Honestly– it’s kinda hard to believe but summer is almost over!!! If you live up North, then maybe you’re one of the lucky ones that spends the month of August on Martha’s Vineyard or the Hamptons. But if you, like us, are based in the South then you’re preparing for schools to resume and that routine of fall to kick in.

As lovers of fashion here at SoP we can’t wait to see what designers send down the runway each season. NYFW’s Fall/Winter shows just wrapped last week and let’s just say… it lived up to the hype!! Last season was the first to return to all in-person shows, but this season proved that the  fashion industry is back in full force and ready for everything life has to offer this upcoming season. Many designers like Sergio Hudson and Tanya Taylor emphasized everyday wearability, while other designers like Christopher John Rogers and LoveShackFancy followed a more whimsical and upscale theme.

In 2022 we saw the explosion of the cowgirl boot trend everywhere: on the runways, at college football games, and of course all over Instagram. Fast forward to 2023, and we’re pretty sure they’re here to stay.

It didn’t take much for us to hop on the trend too once we discovered the perfect boots designed by Lizzy of City Boots. If you haven’t heard of them chances are you’ve seen them because her styles have been featured everywhere (and knocked-off constantly) and that’s because she’s effortlessly intertwined traditional techniques with an ultra-feminine style.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I along with several other influencers and STS lovers were invited to The Greenbrier to shoot the Sail to Sable x Style Charade Holiday 2022 Capsule Collection. I was sooo excited as I have always loved visiting this gorgeous place. If you have not heard of The Greenbrier before, it is a National Historic Landmark and a world-class resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, and has been serving guests since 1778.
