If I’m being completely honest– I don’t need anything for Christmas this year bc God has given me everything I’ve ever dreamed of. Earlier this month I got to marry a man that has taught me more about love than anyone else on this planet, and if you ask me…that’s really the only gift I need.

It’s been a whirlwind of a month already, but the real festivities have yet to begin! We’re only a few days away from Christmas and if I’m being completely honest– beneath our Christmas Tree is totally empty! Between my bachelorette party + the wedding, I haven’t had a chance to purchase anything for anyone. I haven’t skied in very many locations, but honestly that’s because I feel like Vail is the perfect ski town…and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

While I would love to experience Park City, Utah, Lake Tahoe, and the French and Swiss Alps, I’ve become quite fond of Vail and am never disappointed when we decide to visit.

I really love Vail’s low-key, laid back atmosphere and the fact that it is has everything you need for a fun-filled trip in the snow.

Weather during the winter in the South is always so finicky. One day it could be 42 degrees and the next will be in the mid-70s. Its ever changing and always so unpredictable. The only way to really prepare is by having a closet full of transitional pieces that you can wear through several seasons.

One of my favorite transitional pieces in my closet right now is this white blouse from tobi.com. It was perfect for this randomly warm day, and will probably get me through the beginning on Spring!

This winter, getting dressed has been surprisingly easy. That’s because I’ve basically just been wearing different variations of the exact same thing (and I don’t feel bad about it at all)!

My uniform is so simple anyone can do it. And I promise, its something you can wear just about anywhere! What is it? A pair of jeans (black or dark blue), a black turtle neck, black boots (tall or short), and a colored jacket!
