One thing I’m sure you’ve learned about me by now is that I looveee a luxury hotel. I’ve traveled all over the world and have stayed in A LOT of hotels, so I find it hard for a new one to surprise and delight me in a new way but fresh from a trip to The DR to celebrate my husband’s birthday, I can tell you I have completely fallen in love with the brand new St. Regis Cap Cana!
We arrived at a resort that was tucked away on the longest stretch of white sand in the Dominican Republic within the luxury development known as Cap Cana. You can tell there was thought behind every single detail. Not only was it designed to bring natural elements from the outdoors in (like the waterfall and staircase at the entrance that resembles a local cenote), every inch was covered in beautiful stone, wood, and other precious metals.
The property is home to swim-up suites, cabana-lined pools, a private beach, lush gardens, and a spa so attentive that it makes you feel like royalty. It’s also known for their on-site dining options that locals and guests, alike, rave about.
Days here are slow but filled with finding an excuse to celebrate (the St. Regis way) everywhere. Their opportunity for champagne toasts throughout the hotel, a daily savoring sunset show, poolside treats (like oysters, ice-cream, and caviar), and this property’s signature Bloody Mary.
