A PINCK Guide to: Nantucket

This past week, our founder MPR packed her bags and headed to one of the dreamiest destinations on the East Coast — Nantucket! Along with a few other incredible content creators and brands, she was invited to spend an unforgettable week at the iconic Nantucket Hotel.

The entire trip was planned by Law Luxury Travel, and we seriously can’t recommend them enough if you’re planning a special getaway. From the moment we arrived, every detail was taken care of — making it so easy to fully enjoy the experience

Set against the timeless charm of Nantucket, the days were filled with moments of connection, creativity, and collaboration. Where to Stay

The Nantucket Hotel + Resort

Located in the heart of Nantucket’s historic Brant Point neighborhood and a staple on the island since the late 1800s (literally), The Nantucket hotel & resort is the island’s only year-round hotel and is made up of  the most attentive staff that remembers every guest!! While we were there “For Now” was popping up in their gift shop and had curated the ultimate products to represent the island.

 

Where to Eat

Cru Nantucket Oyster Bar

Set against stunning views of the marina, and known for its expansive raw bar and pristine seafood, it’s a must if looking for a chic dining option on the island. Pro tip: have a lobster roll here!!

 

 

The Nantucket Hotel

Relaxed and casual, The Nantucket Hotel offers two distinctive dining experiences: Breeze Restaurant, a cozy indoor option that feels like the dining room in a cozy old home, and Sailor’s Valentine, an outdoor patio inspired by the tradition of sailors bringing handcrafted souvenirs back for  loved ones

Known for its fresh, locally sourced seafood and seasonal fare, it offers a relaxed yet refined waterfront dining experience that this island is known for.

A favorite amongst islanders, this cafe offers breakfast and lunch with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern–influenced dishes, but is known for their cold-pressed juices and creative cocktails.

Established in 1976, it blends classic New England flavors with contemporary flair, emphasizing fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Combine their elevated seafood dishes with a classic view of the Nantucket harbor and it may have been the best meal of the trip!!

How to get there: You’ll fly into Boston than fly a small propeller plane on Cape Air, or drive about an hour to Bedford, MA then take Seastreak’s 1  hour ferry.

Located at 18 Federal Street in Nantucket, it is a circular retailer offering  a collection of organic and sustainably sourced children’s apparel and accessories. They also have a really cool buy back program that allows customers to use clothing  your kids grow out of as credit for new pieces!

 

Erica Wilson

A renowned women’s lifestyle brand founded in 1963 by one of the island’s most notable residents! Three generations later and they’re still offering a curated selection of  products that capture the essence of Nantucket’s landscape and lifestyle.

Grace Geier

A super girly boutique for those seeking less casual, and super feminine pieces that capture the essence of Nantucket style. 

PeachTree Kids

Known as “Nantucket’s favorite kids store”, this boutique offers a curated selection of timeless classics in children’s  clothing, shoes, and accessories. This is also the home of Piping Prints, a preppy children wear brand that specializes in searsucker, seasonal embroidery, and family matching!

Over the course of three days, we only scratched the surface of everything this incredible island has to offer.
