You know we love any excuse for a party here at the SoP HQ, so we weren’t going to let the semester end (yes, we still count semesters bc we have interns on our team) without celebrating the holidays with our entire office.
Not everyone is in the office at the same time, so the trick was figuring out when everyone could attend. We landed on 11am one Wednesday morning, so since that didn’t really feel like “party time” we though it would be fun to turn it into a pj party. After all, it is that time of year!
We found the perfect pair of pjs for the occasion from Draper James and made them even more special by monogramming them for the 6 of us. These would make such a great gift because they totally put us all in a festive, girly mood.
11am makes for an interesting time to feast: not quite breakfast, not quite lunch time. So we went for a small spread to satiate all the flavors you expect during the holidays. We had pigs-in-a-blanket, this pepper jelly dip, and a selection of desserts from local bakeshop, Ally and Eloise! To drink I created this mocktail (for our interns)…and then the rest of us topped it off with La Marca champagne. And we alllllll agreed that it was a great drink option for the holidays.
Keeping with our brand, the table setting featured lots of taper candles in red + pink, silver champagne buckets and candelabras, and all the Rosy Check Mackenzie-Childs serving pieces we could fit!!!

The fun didn’t stop with the cozy vibes + treats! To keep everyone entertained we got creative!
We started with a painting session. We each picked the color candle we liked most and then added personal designs with paint. It was a great opportunity to see who had painting skills…and who didn’t LOL. But it was in such a relaxed fashion that everyone enjoyed it.
Then turned things up a notch and had a friendly competition. We split up into 2 teams to have a gingerbread house design contest. We loved the playful nature that competition brings, but there were plenty of laughs and holiday cheer along the way to keep it fun… and a timer to keep things interesting!
No good party happens without a TikTok dance break, right? So spent time learning and filming a few, but laughing endlessly throughout! Check out our final result HERE!
