There’s something magical about the slow, carefree rhythm of summer camp—the scent of fresh air, the laughter echoing through the trees, and the joy of simple pleasures. As women, we can romanticize those memories, or we can bring that same nostalgic energy into our everyday lives. Creating a gentle, daily schedule that emphasizes your femininity while mirroring the charm of summer camp will allow you to savor this month (and the season) with intention—embracing play, rest, and creativity in equal measure.

Today, we’re sharing a nostalgic Adult Summer Camp Schedule for women who are looking to slow down and end summer more gracefully. We’re here to help you relive those dreamy camp days right from home!
Think of this schedule as your guide to slowing down, reconnecting with simple joys, and infusing summer with a touch of charm. Whether you follow it exactly or simply use it for inspiration, these moments will help you capture that nostalgic camp magic at home– and can be completed in just one day.
Welcome to CAMP PINCK, where we’re on a mission to bring “whimsy, wonder + wellness” to the lives of women with old souls who still feel young at heart.
If you’re a paid subscriber over on our Substack, then this month you’ll be receiving a full welcome deck from CAMP PINCK to get you on track to begin this journey.
If you’re not, we’re still sharing a sample schedule below for you to have your very own camp day… at home, with hopes that you’ll join the fun and become a paid subscriber.
A Day of Summer Magic for Your Inner Girl 🏕️
Motto: “Whimsy, Wonder & Wellness”
6:00 AM – Wake-Up & Nature Sesh
Set an alarm, make your bed, then start the day by moving your body… outdoors. Take 15-20 minutes to try gentle yoga or stretching on the porch/in the yard, or take a short walk around the neighborhood.
Earn a badge by walking barefoot in any amount of grass with deep breathing for at least two minutes. Optional lemon water or herbal tea.
Conclude with a glass of warm lemon water or herbal tea, then set your intention for the day with a camp-style “morning circle” (just you, your journal, and the rising sun).
7:30 AM – Cabin Breakfast
Don’t get dressed quite yet!! Be ok with not feeling the need to be perfect. In whatever you wore to your nature sesh, have a wholesome breakfast with a nostalgic twist. Think: scrambled eggs, cinnamon toast, berries, and iced coffee or milk in a mason jar.
Earn a badge by writing a letter to your younger self—or to a “pen pal” (a friend you want to reconnect with).
9:00 AM – Arts & Crafts
Time to embrace the idea of slowing down. Turn on a playlist of chill music (here’s MPR’s) and do something with your hands—no screens allowed! Our team shared a few ideas for ladylike activities earlier this year, but if you’re looking for something that requires very little effort try:
- Press flowers from the yard
- Make friendship bracelets (even if just for yourself)
- Decorate a camp-style bandana
Earn a badge if you spend at least one hour screen-free: no emails, no texts, no pictures!!! Just an alarm (in another room) that lets you know when you’ve reached that hour! ..but we’re willing to bet you’ll want to extend this activity for a bit longer when it does.
11:00 AM – Find the water!!
Now that we’ve done some introspective work, it’s time to connect with something greater– water!! This is your time to take a dip. Find a pool, head to the lake, or if you’re lucky enough to live near a beach take advantage and spend a lazy hour in the sun.
If you’re unable to access any of these on your camp day, all is not lost! You can simply connect to water through a long bath with Epsom salt and rose petals, or a long hot shower with these shower steamers.
When you’re done with either, linger! Light a candle, apply a hydrating face mask or deep condition your hair.
Earn a badge by trying a brand new beauty product that you’ve been meaning to try or heard great things about. Need a few recommendations from your favorite camp counselor? MPR will be sharing her faves a little later this month over on Substack, so be sure you’re subscribed to get this list delivered directly to your inbox.
1:30 PM – Mess Hall Lunch
Meet in the “mess hall” for an elevated, yet easy camp lunch! Think: grilled chicken caesar wrap, kettle chips, cut watermelon, and lemonade in a Mason Jar (ps- you’re grown so feel free to spike it with vodka if you wish!!) The goal of this lunch is to eat outdoors!!! You can do this picnic style, on blanket in the grass, or even on a patio. Doesn’t have to be fancy– in fact it shouldn’t be!! This is just an opportunity to connect yourself to nature and listen to the sounds around. This should give you permission to be alone with yourself– something many of us don’t get the chance to do so often.
2:00 PM – Rest Hour (Mandatory!)
Lunch shouldn’t take long. So whenever you finish, cozy up in a hammock, a comfy outdoor lounge chair, or your bed with a book or nap. Only rule here is: No screens allowed!
Earn a badge by reading!!! I don’t care if it’s for 5 minutes or the entire hour… if you open a book and actually read you deserve a badge!! Here’s a list of what MPR’s been reading this year.
3:30 PM – Camp Game or Challenge
Certainly you didn’t think any camp day would be complete without a challenge?! That’s one of the things that makes camp so formative. The challenge? Get moving!
If you didn’t make it on that neighborhood walk in the morning, take a solo scavenger hunt and find 5 beautiful natural items (snapping a picture of each, then posting on your story tagging #CAMPPINCK) OR take a nature walk with a nature-themed podcast
Earn a badge by:
- having your own hula hoop or jump rope challenge (yes, really!)
- trying a 20-min YouTube dance or retro aerobics class
- or, inviting a friend for a game of tennis or pickleball
5:30 PM – Cabin Time (Creative Hour)
Freshen up, then cozy up in your bunk (aka bed) and reflect, create, or connect. During this time you can:
- Journal: “What did I need as a child that I can give myself now?”
- Write a short poem or story
- Create a vision board or memory book
- Call or voice note your mom or a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while.
6:30 PM – Campfire Supper
Return to your mess hall for another simple, yet elevated camp meal. You can have grilled skewers (veggies + protein) or a burger, with corn on the cob,a baked sweet potato and grown-up S’mores.
Earn a badge if you eat by candlelight or a fire pit! You should be in your comfiest set that makes you feel feminine and graceful.
8:00 PM – Campfire Circle & Stargazing
After dinner it’s time to start settling down for the night. Lay out under the stars on a blanket and dream. If your brain needs more action before shutting off, choose a new podcast and pretend like it’s a campfire story being told to you.
Earn a badge by downloading a stargazing app and tracking at least one constellation in the sky. Don’t know which one to start with? Try the Big Dipper.. Or your astrological sign.
9:00 PM – Lights Out (With Gratitude)
Start a comprehensive night routine that starts with moisturizing your body, then face. Give you hair, nails, and other parts of your body special attention too. If you can, open a window! Either way light a candle, and write in your journal reflecting on what made you like “little you” today. Find 3 new things to thankful for… no matter how small.
Earn a badge if you fall asleep listening to crickets, ocean waves, or a summer storm whether it be natural or by modern technology!
