Making the connection seems sooo obvious now, but growing up it was soo “normal” that I never thought to ask why! 🥬
But now that I’m a mom I can’t help but be more intentional with everything— especially the holidays!! Except I plan to make sure Teagan knows the whyyy behind everything. I swear that’s the only time future generations care to preserve the past— when they know WHY!!!!

Just a few nights in the mountains with Teagan and I realize the magic of fall appears in the simplest of moments like: wearing your favorite boots, making it rain leaves, and rocking back and forth in a rocking chair as many times as you can!!
