A Sentimental Gift That Becomes a Family Heirloom.. MILK Books

Let’s admit it– we alllllll have tens of thousands of photos on our phones. Photos from holidays, of birthdays, our kids’ milestones, vacations, and everything in between. The convenience of being able to look at them at any time in any place is something we should not ever take for granted, however, we all know tangible photos feel a lot more special than digital ones– especially because these days they’re so rare.

Photos are like tiny time capsules preserving moments in time. Other than our own memories, which are known for changing over time, they’re one of the only things we have to remember the moments of our lives. That’s why, here at PINCK, we believe photos deserve to be treated like the heirlooms that they are.

Now, if you’re like MPR and you like to capture everything, individual photos aren’t always the best option. If you wanted to store hundreds of  4×6  photos you’d need a few boxes or a few photobooks. But a box doesn’t feel elevated enough for life’s moments, and photobooks are filled with those plastic shields that tear and honestly just look kinda cheap!

That’s why we’d recommend  MILK Books! A luxury photobook that is completed digitally, but then made into a beautiful, physical keepsake book that you and your family could not only flip through, but display for years to come!!!

Every Christmas, MPR gifts each of the boys “yearbooks”, which is just a collection of photos of each of them over that one specific year. Some mundane, some from major moments but all important because they’re shaping who each of those boys will become. She also made a point to create a wedding book  that she gifted her husband one anniversary. Because the wedding was sooo small she wanted to be sure the memory of that day would live on!

But this year, in addition to the boys’ yearbooks, she will be gifting her husband a collection of their family travels from over the years in a large travel magazine layout. From Africa to Asia, she arranged the most memorable photos of each trip by continent. Then had it printed in large format that felt like a luxurious travel magazine in hopes that they will be able to display it in their lake house.

Though timely, the process of creating a book is surprisingly simple. Just choose the type of album, upload the pictures you want to use, and they lay everything out exactly how you’d like to see it printed!! The platform gives you full creative freedom without it being overwhelming.

It’s worth noting that putting something like this together takes hours over a few days and then does take some time to ship, but all good things take time. Sooo if  you want to gift the next family heirloom this holiday season– we highly recommend you start working on it now!!!
