Over the weekend, Gamecock men’s AND women’s basketball teams advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16! While we have come to expect that from our Lady Gamecocks, this is the very first time in school history that our men’s team has danced into the coveted spot! And to top it off, they beat Duke (of all schools) to get there!!! Cola Town has been LIT, to say this least.
In honor of these great accomplishments, I sat down with The State Newspaper’s Go Columbia Coordinator, Dwaun Sellers, and Columbia Fashion Week Director, Alicia Ziegler, to discuss the courtside fashion of our beloved coaches. Up first, women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley!
And don’t think the men’s basketball coach, Frank Martin, gets a pass…(no pun intended LOL)!
