Jump & Crash // Teagan’s 4th Birthday Party

If there’s one thing we know about MPR, it’s that she loves any reason to throw a party! And celebrating her son Teagan is one of her favorite excuses. Every birthday, she finds a way to combine whatever Teagan is loving at the time with whimsical themes creating birthday celebrations that are as creative as they are memorable! From his first “Sweet T” birthday party to his Chugga-Chugga Two Two joint party to his most recent Three-Rex theme, every party has been carefully thought out and designed to feel unique to him.

So when Teagan’s fourth birthday rolled around this year it was only right that it revolved around monster trucks! Because if you know T then you know Monster Jam (really, Gravedigger) is his jam!!!

All good parties start with the invite so, she turned to Minted!!! She was adamant on mailing out a few to his friends because his baby book goes up until age 5 so she wants to collect them all until then! But that’s how “Jump & Crash, Its Teagan’s 4th Birthday Bash” came about— she found the perfect template on Minted that she could easily edit. This made the invites feel completely custom.. and were the foundation of the entire party!

From then on she dove headfirst into “detail planning” mode!!!

To be honest, she didn’t have a ton of time to prepare. Summer went by fast and then so did September. So, a lot of the decor was just Amazon finds, French linens, and her trusty Mackenzie Childs collection— who’s checkered pattern was almost too perfect for the race theme! But she did have a family friend build a race track for the kids to use with the toy trucks, and then there was the giant inflatable monster truck jump castle that everyone fully thought was gonna be a waterslide (but that’s another story for another day) that kept the kids entertained …until the final summer storm of the season came through!!!

MPR took on the task of making all the food for the party! Going through great lengths to tie each dish to the theme. The PINCK team helped her come up with clever monster truck-inspired names that were printed on labels designed from Canva.

We also helped design a cocktail menu for the bar that featured a mango margarita with Astral tequila (that was a total hit)! Scroll to the very bottom for the recipe. The cake + cupcakes were make locally at Sweet GG’s Bakery and MPR’s aunt added a few monster trucks on top!

Take a look through the other details, big and small, that carried the theme through and that make us crown our girl MPR as the ultimate party host!!

Created “Speed Limit 4” signs on Canva then printed at FedEx. The simple centerpieces were just balloons tied around these monster trucks.

Party highlights: Piñata (filled with balls, lollipops, and an assortment of other random toys) and the race track with these pull back race cars!

The present/cake table was the center focal point of this party! So she decorated with this birthday banner and these balloons!

She pulled out a table linen she picked up in Provence, and layer her  Mackenzie Childs + Le Creuset collection on top! But there were a few monster truck plates and checkered flag party napkins. It wouldn’t be MPR without a little feminine detail though, she she snuck in blue scalloped napkins for the adult cocktails!

They just added monster truck cupcake toppers to locally baked cupcakes + gave each kids reusable twisty truck straws in race cups!
