In case you missed it, yesterday I announced on IG that Todd + I are expecting our first child together late September. To say I’m excited about this lovely surprise would be an understatement, but I’m also worried, overwhelmed and really frightened about all of the changes this will bring. While I know all of those emotions are normal, it’s still hard not to overthink this entire situation. But I’ve tried pairing those feelings with super positive ones, including celebrating every milestone (both big + small).
One of those milestones being that one week from today will technically be my very first Mother’s Day! I may not being holding my little one in my arms this weekend, but my belly + my heart are filled with the love for this person I haven’t even met yet. I also get to celebrate my mom’s first Mother’s Day as a grandma (to be). So I’ve compiled a list of items, at a range of different prices, to gift the mom if your life whether she’s a first time mom, or has been mom-ing for decades. Because whatever stage she may be at, it’s sure that she’s put 100% of her heart + soul into loving another human being.
