Honestly– it’s kinda hard to believe but summer is almost over!!! If you live up North, then maybe you’re one of the lucky ones that spends the month of August on Martha’s Vineyard or the Hamptons. But if you, like us, are based in the South then you’re preparing for schools to resume and that routine of fall to kick in. 

Lately around the PINCK HQ we can’t help but complain that summer has gotten away from us.

In 2022 we saw the explosion of the cowgirl boot trend everywhere: on the runways, at college football games, and of course all over Instagram. Fast forward to 2023, and we’re pretty sure they’re here to stay.

If you haven’t heard of them chances are you’ve seen them because her styles have been featured everywhere (and knocked-off constantly) and that’s because she’s effortlessly intertwined traditional techniques with an ultra-feminine style.

This summer is a big transition for all of us! It’s our first one with Teagan, but more importantly it’s the season where Teagan has made the biggest changes. We’ve learned how to stand, pull up, crawl, and even scale furniture so now there’s nothing big enough to slow us down. There’s no doubt to anyone around him that he’ll be walking in just a matter of weeks.

It’s no secret that I love matching with my little bambino! To be honest, it only feels natural because these days he still feels like an extension of me and my body. The big kids laugh at us, but I know Teagan won’t let me do it forever so right now I’m constantly searching for the chicest pieces that are available in Mommy + Mini. This task would obviously come a lot easier if I were matching with a little girl, but I truly enjoy the thrill and search of doing it for a little boy.
