2006 was truly one of the best, more formative years of my life. No way we could have truly grasped how different life would be TWENTY YEARS later, but I can promise you we never took one second of that year for granted. 
Throwback, 00s, Y2K, high school memories, millennial memories

- thinking softness means weakness
- rolling your eyes at homemaking, but calling burnout “empowerment”
- believing needing no one is the highest form of freedom
- seeing tradition as oppression instead of inheritance 
- saying legacy is outdated and personal branding is eternal
- trying to escape femininity instead of refine it
- measuring progress only by proximity to male power
I refuse to believe feminism can’t include choosing beauty, care, and leadership in your home! And I know the founding mothers of the movement understood that though “womanhood” looks different for everyone, all women are capable of whatever they desire!!

I honestly get sooo annoyed anytime the weather drops below 50 in South Carolina… like sir, we don’t do that here!!!!
